Eco-Race Florida
FL Coast to Coast
Thegoal.wmf (35378 bytes) The relatively new phenomenon of Adventure Racing is designed to challenge the abilities of all athletes from beginners to the weekend warriors to the elite and professional level multisport athletes.

There are often three or more types of sports included within one race and the races often involve teams, who must start and finish together. These races often include some running, orienteering, river crossings, climbing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, and/or other athletic challenges, sometimes presented as "special tests" or "mystery events" within the race.

This page provides links to some of the Adventure Racing opportunities that may be "just the thing" for you to choose as a goal, prepare for, and go to share in the challenge.

Performance Adventure Racing Series -- Northeast Florida's series of Super Sprint (3-hour limit) and Mid-Distance (6-hour limit) races. This series is great for those wanting to try out adventure racing without making too big a commitment to equipment and time and desiring to get a gradual increase in the challenges. The races are designed to be good introductions for new adventure racers and excellent challenges for those with plenty of experience. Come and join the fun!
