| Mayor's Cup 10K & 5K -- Is
being re-scheduled -- in Jacksonville Beach. This event includes a
10K running race, plus a separate 5K non-competitive fun run/fitness walk. It takes place
on the beach at low tide, starting and finishing by the oceanfront SeaWalk Pavilion, one
block north of Beach Boulevard. This event is presented in honor of the
late Mayor Bill Latham and is part of the City of Jacksonville Beach's Mother's Day
weekend celebration. A joint effort by BEST--Beach Endurance Sports Team and Performance
MultiSports, a portion of proceeds will go to area non-profit organizations through
BEST.
Early entry fee is $12, with late registration at $15. Packet Pick-up and
Day-of-race registration will begin at 6:45am in the white Performance Race/Walk
Registration tent, at the oceanfront parking lot next to the SeaWalk Pavilion. T-shirts
will be provided for those registered in either the 10K or 5K events. There will be awards
in the 10K run; the 5K is a fun run/walk and will not be scored. All registered
participants will be eligible for the "door prize" drawings following the runs.

COURSE:
Accurate, measured 5-Kilometer (3.1 mi.) course on the flat, smooth beach,
starting and finishing at the SeaWalk Pavilion, Jax Beach. Aid stations with water at
Miles 1.5 and at the finish. Markers at each mile and at 1/2 mile to go. AWARDS: Special awards
to top Overall and Masters, male & female, plus the winners in each age group: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-25,
26-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up.
Overall and Masters Winners will
receive Awards at the Pops Concert. FREE LIVE POPS MUSIC ON SUNDAY EVENING -- ENJOY THE
GREAT ENTERTAINMENT BY THE JACKSONVILLE SYMPHONY. |

City of Jacksonville, Beach Endurance Sports Team, Performance MultiSports, the race

a running competition can be a potentially hazardous activity. However, I have
sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and know that I am participating at
my own risk. I am also aware of the dangers of exercising or competing in hot weather and
humidity. I have read this waiver of liability and accept the risks and responsibility
