Timucuan Challenge -- Race Course Map

This map below shows the area of the race courses, from Huguenot Memorial Park ( at the southeast end) and up to Nassau Sound (the northern limit of the course). Participants are welcome to copy these charts for use in the race. Remember that beach and sandbar features change with nearly every storm -- not all sandbars or new dunes are shown on these maps.

We encourage you to use a copy of the US Geological Survey map for the Mayport Quadrangle (north of Mayport), 7.5 minute series. It is far more detailed than we could present on our website.

You can acquire the USGS map at Map Services in Jacksonville, FL. They are located in the San Marco section of Jacksonville, at 3120-1 Atlantic Boulevard. To order the map you can call them at (904) 399-3108.

The Timucuan Coastal Challenge will start and finish at Huguenot Memorial Park on the beach of the "lagoon" and just a short walk from the Park store and camping areas.
